This course was born out of the Indigenous Focusing and Oriented Therapy Program that was developed by Shirley Turcotte. We honor the grandmother of this work Shirley Turcotte and the various instructors who contributed to developing these tools. This course honors the deep cultural knowledge and lived experiences of Indigenous communities. As you move through the content, we invite you to approach it with humility, respect, and curiosity.
